Professional Bio
Chris works with Australian Childhood Foundation. A psychologist with a background in secondary school education, and a Master's in Art Therapy, Chris has a special interest in arts-based therapeutic intervention. Chris has worked for more than two decades in the area of childhood trauma and held roles across clinical, early intervention and education spaces. Presently, she is creates content, designing relational products supporting children and families. Chris has written more than twenty-five e-stories for children to help support them through times of natural disaster, and in connection with Australian Childhood Foundation therapeutic dolls. She has conceptualised and co-designed sets of cards for use in schools and therapeutic settings, and more than sixty therapeutic e-resources distributed throughout Australian Childhood Foundation's network.
