The recent recipient of the first CFECFW Distinguished Service to Out of Home Care Sector Award, Adela has worked in the child & family welfare sector for 52 years. Over this time she has held senior management roles at child protection, Berry Street & VACCA. Significant achievements are the lead writing & design of the successful Take Two submission & the research & design of Victoria's TRC pilot Hurstbridge Farm. which she then managed from 2006-2009. Since 2020 Adela has been part of the project team that developed Uniting's Therapeutic Model of Care.
