The welcome reception marks the beginning of our shared journey from harm to hope, offering a relaxed space to connect with fellow delegates, enjoy a drink, and build relationships that will support learning and collaboration throughout the conference. Whether you’re joining us as a five‑day delegate, or simply keen to meet others united by a commitment to trauma transformation, this informal gathering is the ideal way to start the experience together.

Venue: Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Main Foyer
Agenda: There is no formal agenda for this event. This will be a relaxed opportunity to network, connect with fellow delegates, and enjoy some light refreshments. Join us and ease into the conference, and start building connections in a casual setting.
Catering: A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available, along with a selection of light refreshments to enjoy as you connect.
Registration: Attendance at the welcome function is included for all 5-day conference delegates. If you have a different ticket type or have a friend you would like to bring along, you can purchase a ticket through the registration portal. All attendees are required to register their intention to attend through the portal so we can cater appropriately for the event.
