The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is a highly accessible venue, offering numerous facilities and services to support diverse needs, including wheelchair access, a Changing Places facility, hearing loops, assistance animal acceptance, and available support staff and loaned wheelchairs. Should you require any assistance, please visit their Customer Service desk at Convention Centre Place, and their friendly staff will happily assist you.

We are pleased to inform you of the following facilities and amenities available to support your experience throughout the duration of the conference. Please visit the MCEC Customer Service desk at Convention Centre Place. 

  • Cloakroom Facilities: Should you require storage for your coat, pram, or luggage, cloakroom services are available for your convenience. 
  • Parent Rooms: For the comfort of parents and children, dedicated Parent Rooms are provided. These spaces offer a private and well-equipped environment for changing or feeding, and are located within both the Convention and Exhibition Centres. 
  • Charging Stations: To support your connectivity and productivity, charging stations are conveniently located at several points throughout the venue, including Shed Café, Plenary Café, Goldfields Café + Bar, as well as behind the Sovereign Room staircase, and Door 17 staircase. 
  • Prayer Rooms: For quiet reflection or prayer, designated prayer rooms are available within the MCEC.
