Max is a Clinical Psychologist and Family Therapist who has specialised in treating traumatised systems, especially involving high-risk youth. Max has worked across tertiary services in mental health and child welfare focusing on understanding parallel system dynamics, helping services overcome these to support recovery. Max is also a lecturer in Family and Systemic Therapy at Williams Road Family Therapy Centre (Australian Catholic University), where he lectures on trauma, mental illness and complexity in family systems.
