Mary-Ann is a Social Worker with significant experience in working with children, young people and families who have experienced abuse related trauma and family violence. She has a particular interest in using narrative, relational and sensorimotor based approaches in supporting children, young people and their families to heal from, and reconnect, following their experiences of abuse and violence. Mary-Ann has worked at the Australian Childhood Foundation for 19 years across a range of programs including family violence, out of home care, therapeutic residential care and education in both metropolitan and regional Victoria. Prior to joining the Australian Childhood Foundation, Mary-Ann worked in out of home care and child protection.
