Litisha is a strong Yolngu woman living and working in the remote East Arnhem Land island community of Galiwinku. Litisha currently works as Program manager of Yalu Community Care Programs, which includes RAMF (DFSV) and IMR (Improving Muliti-disciplinary Services Research Project). Her passion is to better the lives of Yolngu women and children across the East Arnhem region. Litisha strives to challenge the normalisation of DFSV in remote Aboriginal Communities because it is not part of Yolngu culture. Litisha is an active Board Member with Yalu and a strong and emerging Leader in her community.
