Professional Bio
Kate Thomas is the Australasian Lead Consultant and Trainer at The Centre for Healing and Justice through Sport. She has over 20 years of experience developing and delivering programs that enhance community well-being. She has worked across several sectors, including state and local government and the not-for-profit sectors, including child and family services. Kate is also a Faculty Member of The Neurosequential Network's NM-Sport Program, a “capacity-building” process that provides an introduction to important concepts related to engagement and performance in sport by focusing on how the brain works, develops, changes and is impacted by developmental adversity, including trauma. Kate has been involved in sports throughout her life and is passionate about creating healing-centred sports environments for all young people.
