Being part of Our Collective Experience is a privilege. It has given me the opportunity to share my story and use my voice to call for stronger protections for children and young people against sexual abuse. This project matters because children matter. As a society, we must do better to create environments where all children are safe, supported, and free from harm. While sharing my experience has been confronting, it’s also brought strength — drawn from the courage of fellow survivors and the hope that together, we can change societal norms and help prevent further abuse.
