Claire Walsh is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker currently working at Evolve Therapeutic Services in Logan. In her current role Claire works with severe and complex trauma in young people (in the care of Child Safety), their carers, the system that supports them (incl. schools). Claire previously worked at Clarence Street, Mater Young Adult Health Centre. Whilst at Clarence Street Claire provided counselling, psych-education and support to young people with alcohol and other drug problems, as well as support and counselling to family members. Prior to this, Claire worked in a hospital setting providing crisis interventions to individuals presenting to an emergency department; fostering a strong interest in mental health/trauma and the impacts upon young people and families/carers.
