Professional Bio
Charmain is a Clinical Psychologist at the Department of Child Development (DCD), KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Her clinical practice interests include neurodiversity, relational care, and trauma informed practices. Her current role involves working with young children and their families, to provide assessment and intervention for developmental, behavioural, socio-emotional, and/or relational concerns. She additionally provides input, training and supervision in two programs. Anchor, a home visitation program that aims to provide trauma informed care to families with young children who have experienced maltreatment, to optimize their health and well-being. She is also involved in DayOne, a screening and intervention program that focuses on the mental health of caregivers of the children who present at DCD.
