Professional Bio
Camilla Mowbray is a qualified Equine Assisted Therapy practitioner providing mental health interventions for young people for over twelve years. She has focused on children and young people living in the out-of-home care system, helping to rebuild resilience and enjoyment of life following experiences of adversity and trauma. Delivering trauma-informed programs of relational experiences with horses, Camilla helps her clients generalise the felt sense of attunement into their day-to-day lives, and involves carers, family members, educators and therapists in understanding and integrating this process. As a trainer for the leader in equine assisted therapy training, Equine Assisted Therapy Australia (EATA), Camilla is also helping the next generation of practitioners become the standard-bearers of best-practice Equine-Assisted Mental Health.
