Amandah Taylor is a kindergarten teacher at Yuille Park Children’s Centre and Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at Victoria University. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. In 2022 Amandah won the prestigious Minister’s Award for Excellence in Early Childhood Education at the Victorian Early Years Awards and used the prize money to gain certification with Dr Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. This knowledge has helped to support her work with vulnerable families in Ballarat and to develop a model with a focus on high quality care and education for young children who have experienced trauma.
