Professional Bio
Amanda is an experienced leader and Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of expertise in child abuse, complex trauma, harmful sexual behaviours (HSB), and child advocacy centre methodologies. As Deputy Director, Practice at the Australian Centre for Child Protection (ACCP), UniSA, she leads research, development, and implementation of evidence-based therapeutic models for child abuse, trauma, and HSB, including workforce development training and a Graduate program. Amanda chairs the National Clinical Reference Group for HSB and led the development of Australia’s Minimum Practice Standards for services responding to child sexual abuse. She is currently developing a National Clinical and Therapeutic Framework for HSB and leads nationwide projects improving responses to HSB, shaping policy and practice through statewide frameworks and assessment models.
