Alicia San Martin is the Clinical Lead for Early Childhood and Children’s Services at Guide Dogs Victoria, with extensive experience supporting children who vision impaired and have additional disabilities, including sensory, physical, and developmental needs. She has a strong interest in creative, client-centred approaches that promote access to Orientation and Mobility (O&M) for children with complex support needs.
Alicia is passionate about developing and delivering innovative programs that incorporate therapy dogs to enhance O&M outcomes, reduce anxiety, and increase engagement for children and their families. She is dedicated to exploring how therapy dogs can foster confidence, participation, and wellbeing for young clients navigating multiple challenges.
